Welcome to Rooster!

Rooster is a place where you can meet up with friends, enjoy great food and drinks, and make the most of summer in a unique countryside setting on the shores of Lake Raikunjärvi.

Rooster is part of Raikku Ranch, a working farm where agriculture, events, and tourism come together. The farm’s heritage is reflected in both the restaurant’s name and its menu, with its signature chicken dishes inspired by everyday life on the farm.

Opening hours

Rooster is open during the summer season from 2–25 July 2026, Thursday to Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Rooster’s menu features street food–inspired dishes and sweet waffles. For daytime visitors stopping by for coffee, we also offer a selection of changing treats, some of which are homemade by the lady of the farm.

Raikku Ranch Rooster Menu

Chicken House Burger – €15.90

Crispy corn-coated chicken, coleslaw, pickles, marinated onions, Nashville Hot sauce, and our house ranch dressing. Served with crispy potato wedges.

Farm Garden Burger (L) – €15.90

Grilled halloumi, coleslaw, devil’s jam, marinated onions, and chipotle mayonnaise. Served with crispy potato wedges.

Country Chicken Basket – €14.90

Crispy breaded chicken, pickled cucumber, a generous portion of crispy potato wedges, and our house chipotle and garlic dipping sauces.

Honky Tonk Tacos – €12.90

Two warm tortillas filled with juicy chicken, fresh coleslaw, pickled red onions, mango mayonnaise, and jalapeños, finished with spring onions and cheddar cheese. Also available with halloumi or tofu instead of chicken.

Loaded Ranch Fries – €10.90

Crispy potato wedges loaded with pulled chicken, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and jalapeños. Perfect for sharing or as a hearty snack.

Corn Ribs – €7.90

Roasted corn ribs seasoned with BBQ spices, topped with Parmesan cheese, and served with our house ranch dip.

Rooster's House Waffles

Summer Love – €9.90

Warm waffle served with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup.

Barnyard Sweet Waffle – €9.90

Warm waffle served with Vehoniemi White Chocolate & Caramel Cookie ice cream, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, caramelized pecans, and salted caramel sauce.

Drink list

At Rooster, we serve a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and refreshing alcohol-free options.

All our dishes are lactose-free. Our kitchen handles allergens, including wheat (gluten), milk, eggs, and nuts. Please ask our staff for more information about allergens and dietary options.

More than simply food

At Rooster, you’re welcome to relax and stay as long as you like. Spend time with friends and family in the courtyard of Raikku Ranch while enjoying the peaceful countryside and the best of summer.

On event evenings, the atmosphere is brought to life with live music.

Is Rooster licensed to sell alcohol?

Yes. Rooster serves a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and a wide variety of alcohol-free drinks.

Yes. Rooster’s summer terrace evenings and events in July are free to attend, so you’re welcome to join us for food and drinks without an admission ticket.

During the R3 – Raikku Rokkaa & Rakastaa Festival, a festival ticket is required to enter the area. Tickets and more information are available at r3festival.fi.

Yes. All of our menu items are also available for takeaway.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on Rooster’s terrace. We also provide a water bowl for our four-legged guests.

Owners are responsible for their pets. Dogs should remain calm, be considerate of other guests, and behave peacefully around any other dogs visiting the terrace.

Free parking is available for Rooster guests at Raikku Ranch. Please follow the parking signs on-site and any directions given by traffic marshals.

Parking arrangements may vary depending on whether it is a regular summer terrace evening or a larger event.
